Pecos Bill Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1954). Pecos Bill is the retelling of the roughest, toughest cowboy in the west and his trusty steed, Widowmaker. The short was directed by Clyde Geronimi. Over the years as social norms evolve so has Bill as editing has removed the scene where Bill rolls a smoke and lights it up as well as references to "painted Indian". Here is a superb production drawing showing Bill riding Widowmaker and shooting his pistols. The drawing was rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. The piece is in a frame of 14" x 11" with a mat opening of 10" x 8". Frame sold as-is. Drawing condition is Very Good.
