Peanuts Charlie Brown's All-Stars Snoopy Animation Drawing (Bill Melendez, 1966). "Surf's up! Surf's up!" yells Linus after his blow-up pool is filled with water for him and Sally to go swimming. Snoopy, who is sleeping atop his beloved doghouse, hears this, grabs his surf board and he's ready to "hang ten!" This Snoopy surfing scene was so popular, that it was reused in three other Peanuts film projects. This is a very rare and outstanding layout drawing of Snoopy sleeping on his doghouse from this TV special. This is only the second Charlie Brown and Peanuts special done, first shown on 6/8/66. Artwork of this nature from the very early TV specials is considered very rare. Great overall image of 5". Graphite on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper, with pegholes repositioned with tape. Minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
