Description
Patrick Block - Donald Duck and Bolivar Story Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). Here's a pair of great storybook illustrations on a single piece of illustration board, from what looks like an update of the classic Carl Barks comic book story "Frozen Gold." It's possibly from the story Patrick worked on with Carl Barks, "Somewhere in Nowhere." The top illustration has Donald yelling at his pet sheepdog Bolivar, who seems confused and surprised by Donald's anger. The bottom illustration has Donald climbing up a tree while his dogsled team look on from below. The art is in ink and watercolor on a sheet of 12.5" x 14.5" illustration board. The top illustration measures approximately 8" x 6", while the bottom art measures 11.25" x 7.5". The art is signed in the lower left corner.
