Parade of the Award Nominees Jackie Cooper, Wallace Beery, and Frederick March Animation Drawing Group (Walt Disney, 1932). In 1932 Walt Disney was given a special Oscar for the creation of Mickey Mouse. He also directed this 2:36 newsreel type short of the Academy Award nominees. It was Mickey Mouse's first appearance in color, and was shown on November 18th, 1932. Joe Gant worked on this short as well. The short can be seen on YouTube. This is a series of three rare 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings featuring Wallace Beery and Jackie Cooper on one for The Champ (5" tall and 1.75" tall), and two featuring Frederic March for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He is 5" x 3.5" as Jekyll, and 5" x 4" as Hyde. The Beery/Cooper piece has extra holes punched in the bottom margin as it appears someone kept this in a ring binder at some point. Slight tanning. In Fine condition.
