DescriptionCharlotte's Web Promotional Cel with Advertising Material (Hanna-Barbera, 1976). This H-B animated feature film was created from the E.B. White's children's book. It premiered in theaters on 3/1/73, and made its 1976 television debut in a two-night special on CBS, airing on 11/26 and 12/3. This is an extremely rare hand-painted black and white publicity cel of Wilbur, Charlotte, Templeton, Jeffrey and all major characters. It was used to created the camera-ready print ad to promote the TV special. The lot has three components. The original hand-painted cel (NOTE: this is a true one-of-a-kind), the mock-up of the ad, and a slick of the final ad as published. This may be the single rarest Charlotte's Web cel we have come across! Minor handling on all. The overall condition is Very Good.
