Description
Orphan's Benefit RARE Long-Billed Donald Duck Early Animation Drawings Sequence of 5 (Walt Disney, 1934). Donald claps his hands and pulls himself up in this unusual and rare sequence of five original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings done for the early short Orphan's Benefit. However, these five drawings were inked and shot in reverse for the scene that starts at about the 8:09 timestamp; the images match exactly except reversed. These are graphite drawings with approximate image sizes of 3" x 3.25" for drawing #72; 1.75" x 3.125" for #87; 2.25" x 3.5" for #97; 2" x 4" for #93; and 2.25" x 3.75" for #96. These "flipped" drawings of Donald Duck in only his second cartoon are in Very Good condition with minor handling wear and age-related paper toning.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
