One Piece Luffy Animation Drawing (Toei, c. 2000s). "We can't just drink it like it's nothing!" Ever expressive Luffy understands the value of water in the desert with this fantastically enraged original animation drawing from an episode in the Alabasta arc of his iconic anime series One Piece. This season aired for 38 episodes from December 16, 2001 to October 27, 2002, and saw the Straw Hat Pirates adventure through the desert country of Alabasta. Mirroring the grand and stylistic expressions of Eiichiro Oda's manga panels, sharp-toothed Luffy clad in his hot weather desert gear has been rendered in graphite and colored pencil to a large half-figure measuring 4.25" x 7" and utterly filling the right half of the 12 field animation sheet which is marked A1 in the top right indicating it was the first frame in its sequence. With typical handling and edge wear including faint edge creasing near the pegholes, overall this outstanding drawing is in Very Good condition.
