Oliver & Company Layout and Rough Animation Drawings Group of 37 (Walt Disney, 1988).
Here is a superb collection of 37 animation drawings from Oliver & Company, the 27th animated feature from the Walt Disney Company. The film was based on the Charles Dickens classic Oliver Twist and released on November 18, 1988. The assortment includes 16 sketches of Rita, the street-wise Saluki and the only female member of Fagin's gang of canines. The voice of Rita was provided by Sheryl Lee Ralph with singing vocals provided by Ruth Pointer of the Pointer Sisters. We also have 21 sketches of Einstein, the Great Dane and also a member of Fagin's gang. Einstein was voiced by Richard Mulligan. The artwork was created using graphite and blue pencil on 12 field, 3-peghole paper. The set also includes copy/prints of timing sheets with animators notes. The drawings have minor handling and edge wear; otherwise, in Very Good condition.
