    Description

    Old King Cole Layout Drawings Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1933). "Oh welcome, dearest of friends, to my annual jamboree!" sings Old King Cole in this classic Silly Symphony short. This is a series of five graphite background layout drawings of the castle and the throne of Old King Cole, right at the beginning of the short. These are from the David Hand-directed short that was released on 7/29/33. These five layout drawings showcase the beauty of artwork coming out of the studio at this time; they are amazingly detailed. Characters are "ghosted" in blue pencil. Scene and animator note stamps can be found on the bottom border of each. Considered very rare. Some handling and edge wear on all; overall Good condition.
