Muppet Babies Kermit and Rowlf Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Jim Henson Associates, c. 1984-91). Presented is a wonderful set of original animation drawings featuring Rowlf the Dog and Kermit the Frog from the popular animated series Muppet Babies. Following the imaginative adventures of Jim Henson's beloved Muppets characters as infants in a nursery, Muppet Babies is rich with genre parody, often including live-action clips from popular movies such as Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and Indiana Jones. The series' central themes revolve around the power of imagination, and its popularity led the show to a whopping eight seasons. Kermit and Rowlf are rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper, and they measure 6.5" and 7.25" tall, respectively. The drawings are matted together with window sizes of 10" x 9" and an overall mat size of 26.5" x 14". Minor handling and edge wear, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
