Description

Mulan Pair of Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1998). "Then take this, so your family will know what you have done for me..." For her bravery while defending China from a Hun invasion, Mulan receives the Emperor's crest in this rare original animation drawing from the Disney Renaissance classic Mulan. This drawing is joined by another original drawing from the beginning of the film, when Mulan resolves to pose as man to take her father's place in the Chinese army. Great images of the protagonist from the beginning and end, these drawings were created for the moments seen at the 17:56 and 1:17:34 marks of the film. The drawings are rendered expertly in graphite and color pencil on two sheets of 16 field animation paper. Mulan measures 9" and 7" tall, and the drawings are numbered M51 and M65 with scene and sequence numbers at the bottom edge. Overall minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use. The condition is Very Good.
