Mr. Peabody and Sherman Storyboard Page Group of 12 (Jay Ward, 1960). Original set of 12 hand-drawn storyboard pages (8.5" x 14" each) of Mr. Peabody and Sherman. This is from the "Peabody's Improbable History" segment of Rocky and Friends/The Bullwinkle Show "Buffalo Bill" episode, the 21st episode in Season Two. These extremely rare storyboards, drawn in Jay Ward classic style, are from the hand of Tex Henson (1924 - 2002). Mr. Henson worked at Disney and Paramount, before becoming to Jay Ward Studios. He is famous for allegedly coming up with the name of "Chip and Dale" while working at Disney. Art is in graphite on velum-type light paper. This is a rare piece of production art from this landmark series. With so much animation work being done in Mexico for this show, little production artwork remains today. Paper is very brittle. Minor handling with edge wear, tears, missing corners, and paper loss and staple marks. Fair condition.
