Description
Mr. Magoo with Travel Folders Layout Drawing (UPA, c. 1960s). Here's a detailed layout drawing of Mr. Magoo pouring over travel brochures (with a magnifying glass). The drawing is in red pencil and shows Magoo in an office with "Mussless Muslin Co." written (backwards) on the window glass. This might be a layout from the Mister Magoo television series that ran in syndication from 11/7/1960 to 2/2/1962, or for one of the many animated commercials featuring nearsighted Magoo. Whatever the source, this is one cool drawing of UPA Studio's biggest cartoon star. The art is in Good to Very Good condition with some handling and edge wear, tack holes, and a taped-on cel peghole strip along the bottom edge.From the Archive of Sam Clayberger and Michael Kadin.
