Mr. Bug Goes to Town Honey and Mr.s. Ladybug Storyboard (Max Fleischer/Paramount, 1941). This is a rare storyboard of Honey and Mr.s Ladybug, from the animated feature film follow-up to Gulliver's Travels The film was originally scheduled for a Christmas 1941 release, but delayed by the outbreak of World War II, which seriously hampered the box office returns. It was shown in a Paramount preview screening on 12/6/41, and then released in New York City and Los Angeles in February, 1942; later that year, it was reissued nationally under the title Hoppity Goes to Town. Art is in graphite with colored pencil highlights on 8.5" x 5.5" storyboard paper panel. The back of the storyboard also has artwork on it. Dialogue written along the left reads, "It might easily happened to your Honey Shop... er... um... my... oh my... er... as I was saying...." This was one of the first animated features to offer screen credits to voice actors. Considered very rare. Two-hole punch on side borders. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
