Mr. Bug Goes To Town Animation Drawing/Color Model and Storyboard Original Art Group of 2 (Fleischer, 1941). Astounding artwork from right before the studio changed hands (and names), these pieces are from a beloved-but-seldom-seen "Bug" classic. The main animation drawing also served double-duty as a color model with lots of great notes to the Ink and Paint Dept regarding shading and effects. There is a note to break-out one of the dancing couples to their own layer for animation in future frames. The 12 field 5-peghole wonder is noted as "Sc 17 - S40" in the upper left, and as "97" in the lower right. Another true treasure included is a very rare storyboard panel from the short, featuring the star... Hoppity! This piece is on 8.5" x 5.5" paper with an image area of 6.25" x 4.75". Both are crafted in graphite with colored pencils, and are in Very Good condition.
