Mother Goose Goes to Hollywood Laurel and Hardy (Simple Simon/Pie Man) Group of 2 Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1938). This contemporary spin on the classic Mother Goose tales is a veritable "who's who?" of film stars of the 1930's. In this short directed by Wilfred Jackson, Laurel and Hardy hilariously recreate Simple Simon and the Pie Man in a segment that begins around the 3:37 mark. This wonderful set of animation drawings is rendered on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper in graphite with red and green pencil highlights. The drawing of Stan Laurel is numbered 222, and the overall image size is about 8" x 8.75". Oliver Hardy's page is numbered 32, and the overall image size is 7" x 8.5". There is minor handling on both, otherwise the condition is Fine.
