DescriptionMother Goose Goes Hollywood Charles Laughton, Spencer Tracy, and Freddie Bartholomew Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Rub-a-dub-dub!" This is an original production drawing of three mega-stars from Hollywood's Golden Age, Charles Laughton, Spencer Tracy, and Freddie Bartholomew as they portray the Three Men in a Tub. This academy award-nominated theatrical short featured a host of film stars as Mother Goose characters. It was directed by Wilfred Jackson, with caricatures by the legendary T. (Thornton) Hee. The piece is rendered in graphite and blue pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. A nice image overall, measuring 9" x 6" with Ink and Paint notes written on the right. It is framed under glass with a mat opening of 8" x 10" in a 17.5" x 16.5" frame. Condition is Very Good. Frame sold as-is.
