Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Cab Calloway Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). In this celebrity-filled Silly Symphony, bandleader Cab Calloway and his band the Four-and-Twenty Blackbirds burst out of their pie and into jazzy song and dance around the 7:00 mark. This movement-filled animation drawing depicts the bandleader as he dances while clad in a tuxedo. The drawing is created with graphite on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and it is marked in its lower right corner with the number 17. The caricatures in this film were created by the great T.
