Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Animation Drawing and Master Script Group (Walt Disney, 1938). The Golden Age stars of Hollywood were featured in Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes in this classic short. This group has the original animation/layout master script (10 pages) which names the animator, footage, and gives an overview of that scene. Animators credited include Jack Stokes, Ward Kimball, and Grim Natwick to name a few. With this historical Disney Studio document, there is also a selection of five 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings featuring the following Hollywood stars: Hugh Herbert (as Old King Cole, 7"), Wallace Beery (as Little Boy Blue, 6"), Charlie McCarthy (as nemesis to W.C. Fields' Humpty Dumpty, 7"), Eddie Cantor (as Little Jack Horner, 4"), and Edward G. Robinson with Greta Garbo on a see-saw (3" and 4"). Drawings are produced in graphite, some have color pencil highlights. The Eddie Cantor piece and the Robinson/Garbo piece are both Plexiglas front framed. In Fine condition.
