Description
Moose Hunters Donald Duck and Goofy Pair of Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1937). Despite their best efforts, Donald and Goofy aren't able to safely distract the moose for their hunter Mickey. They find themselves nearly trampled, tossed off a cliff, and thrown around in a tree for their trouble. This fantastic pair of animation drawings can be found starting at about the 6:59 mark in the short as they are flung across a large tree branch, Donald colliding with Goofy and knocking their moose costume off. They are beautifully rendered in graphite with color pencil highlights, dynamic and elongated as the costume tries to pull apart. The first page includes extensive ink and paint codes in the lower left, the pages noted as 4 and 12 in the lower right. These large drawings measure about 8.25'' x 5'' and 9.25'' x 8'' with effects included. Very Good condition with light age-related toning and minor edge and handling wear.Auction Info
