    Description

Moby Dick and Mighty Mightor Puzzle Illustration Original Art (Hanna-Barbera/Whitman, 1967). Great white whale Moby Dick rescues and befriends teenage boys Tom and Tubb in this animated segment, which also features a pet seal named Scooby (two years before H-B introduced Scooby-Doo; incidentally, both Scooby and Scooby-Doo were voiced by the great Don Messick). Here is an original gouache on board published painting of Moby Dick, Tom, Tubb, and Scooby, created for a Whitman tray puzzle (which is written along the right side border). The art is matted with an opening of 11" x 14"; overall mat size is 17" x 20". Minor handling. Very Good condition.
