Original concept sketch of Piggy baking Christmas cookies from the Muppet Lift-the-Flap Book - The Muppet's Mixed-Up Christmas. This piece is signed by the artist Rick Brown -- longtime Sesame Street Magazine artist who became the lead artist for Muppets children's books. The overall image of this drawing measures approximately 7.25" x 6.75" on a 9" x 8" sheet of tracing paper. The paper has been applied with a small strip of double-sided tape to a 12" x 9" piece of mat board. A description written by the artist is on the back of the mat. Some light creases and basic handling; otherwise condition is Fine. The published version of this sketch can be found on the very first page of the book. A color copy of that page is included. This is a large, expressive image of Miss Piggy from a published work. All original Muppet artwork is considered rare.
