Description

Mickey's Trailer Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). What starts as a relaxing road trip with friends quickly turns into a perilous battle between life and death in Mickey's trailer. Mickey and Donald are the picture of panic in this spectacular drawing from the Ben Sharpsteen-directed short, only able to watch as the trailer zips down the dangerous mountain road. Mickey covers his face and Donald feverishly prays to anyone who will listen as the trailer nearly collides with an oncoming train, the two clearly regretting giving Goofy the wheel. This moment can be found at approximately 6:53 just after the trailer comes away unscathed, the train harmlessly speeding by. These classic full-figure characters, rendered in graphite with color pencil, measure about 7.25'' x 5.25''. The page is noted as 112 in the lower right with an initial below it. This 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing is in Good to Very Good condition with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and faint smudges.
