Mickey's Surprise Party Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1939).
Mickey's Surprise Party is a short that debuted in 1939 at the New York World's Fair as a promotional short for Nabisco. Since then, it has often been edited to suit the snack products in question. It is also notably the first cartoon to feature Mickey and Minnie's 1939 redesigns. From Mickey's Surprise Party we have three 5-peghole animation drawings of Mickey Mouse and Pluto from the short. Walt Kelly provided some of the animation. All three drawings are in graphite with red and green highlights. The images measure approximately 3" and 4" each. This is a matched set with E-2, D-2, and C-2 in the lower right corner of each. In a frame of 19" x 39". Frame sold as-is. In Very Good condition.
