    Description

    Mickey's Surprise Party Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing Group (Walt Disney, 1939). A pair of 5-peghole animation drawings of Mickey Mouse and Pluto from the short, produced for the National Biscuit Company, and shown at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Walt Kelly provided some of the animation. Mickey is whistling as he carries a bouquet of flowers for Minnie, and Pluto follows along with a bone in his mouth. Both are in graphite with nice green highlights, and the images measure approximately 3" each. This is a matched set with "49" in the lower right corner of each, matted to 27" x 13". In Fine condition, with some fading to the paper in the unmatted areas.
