Description

Mickey's Rival Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). "Let go!" Mickey's picnic date with Minnie can't get any worse - Minnie's old friend Mortimer showed up and tried to impress her, he set a furious bull on the loose, and Minnie refuses to climb down from the tree she's hiding in. This huge 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing was created for the co-directed short Mickey's Rival and can be found at about the 7:22 mark as Mickey struggles to try and pull Minnie from the tree branch she's gripping, the bull no longer searching for them. This stunning and detailed graphite with color pencil animation drawing takes up most of the page and features both characters in full figure at about 10.25'' x 7.5''. This timeless couple is noted as 64 in the lower right corner with a color code and is perfect for fans of this iconic theatrical short. Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and faint superficial wrinkling.
