Description
Mickey's Pal Pluto Pluto and Devil Pluto Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). Pluto is a hero twice in this short, saving a bunch of kittens from a river and a well (despite the protestations of his devilish conscience). Here's a pair of production drawings of both Pluto and his Devil conscience. The first drawing features a 4" tall Pluto with horns and Pitchfork from the 5:35 mark. The second is another 4" tall Pluto as he prepares to jump into the well and save the kittens at the 5:53 mark. Both are rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole paper, and are numbered 38 and 25 respectively. Production drawings of Pluto from the '30s are exceptionally rare.
