Mickey's Orphans Storyboard Original Art (Walt Disney, 1931). Frenchy de Trémaudan was an animator and gag man at the Walt Disney Studio, working on shorts from 1930-38. This is rare gag/storyboard art featuring Mickey, Pluto and one of the orphan cats from Mickey's Orphans. The Burt Gillett-directed short was released on 12/9/31. All graphite on a vertical 2-peghole, 12 field animation sheet. Gag is drawn in four panels. Mickey and Pluto are in all four panels. The name "Frenchy" is across the bottom of the gag drawings. This is a rare look into the story development for an early Mickey Mouse short. The piece is in a frame of 15" x 18" with a mat opening of 9.5" x 12". Frame is sold as-is. Minor handling and edge wear. Overall art is in Very Good condition.
