    Description

Mickey's Nightmare Mickey Mouse Jr. Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1932). In this frantic Burt Gillett-directed short from 8/13/32, Mickey dreams that he and Minnie marry and suddenly find themselves parents of a mob of bratty mice babies. In this memorable sequence, one of the babies (whom we'll call Mickey Jr.) has decided to paint the lampshade by using the cat's tail as a paintbrush! The sequence begins at the 5:29 mark, with the final drawing from this set seen at the 5:31 mark. The drawings are marked in the lower right corner as #28 (image size 5" x 4.25"); #74 (image size, excluding flying paint, at 5" x 4.75"), #81 (5" x 5.5"); and #86 (4.5" x 6"). The art is in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole paper. Minor paper toning and handling/edge wear, in overall Very Good condition.
