Mickey's Good Deed Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Progression of 3 (Walt Disney, 1932). "Oh thank you, Merry Christmas! Thank you, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" says Mickey Mouse as he plays his cello and receives tips while Pluto howls along. In this short, Mickey plays "Adeste Fideles" on his cello as a street musician. This short was directed by Burt Gillett and was released on 12/17/32 for that year's holiday season. This is a rare progression of three 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings from the opening scene in this short, where he is on the street corner playing in the snow. Great images of Mickey and the cello, with average sizes of 4" drawn in graphite with red and green pencil highlights. In the last drawing, he is shaking the tin cup to hear his day's take! Written in the bottom right corners are numbers 6, 21, and 74. Each drawing is a suburb image. Minor handling and edge wear. Slight brush mark on top right corner of first drawing, nowhere near image. Very Good overall condition.
