Description

Mickey's Fire Brigade Mickey Mouse, Long-Billed Donald Duck, and Goofy Rare Animation Drawing Sequence of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935). This rare sequence of 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings can be found at about the 6:25 and 6:36 mark of the Ben Sharpsteen-directed short Mickey's Fire Brigade. The short followed the trio on their mission to put out a hotel fire, though things don't go their way as the blaze fights back at every turn. The drawings are rendered in graphite and graphite with color pencil, picturing Mickey with a long-billed Donald Duck as they use Goofy as a battering ram. The second image pictures Goofy stuck in a sink with the two desperately trying to pull him out. These hilarious images measure around 7.75'' x 3.5'' and 10.5'' x 4.5'', numbering 77 and 147 in the bottom right. They exhibit minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and faint residue. Very Good condition overall for this vintage firefighting team.
