    Description

Mickey's Fire Brigade Mickey Mouse Animation/Color Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). Fire Chief Mickey, wearing his Number 1 fire helmet, seems to be having a bit of a ladder problem in this fantastic early Color Model drawing. This short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen, and released to theaters on 8/3/35. Color call-outs are noted by hand around the image. Art is in graphite with lots of added color pencil -- red, blue, yellow, brown, and green. Mickey is about 2". The drawing is sandwiched in a mat, with an opening size of 11" x 8", and overall mat size of 16" x 12". Good condition.
