Mickey's Fire Brigade Mickey Mouse and Ladder Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1935). Mickey, Donald, and Goofy take on the role of firefighters in this hilarious Ben Sharpsteen-directed short, ready to do their part to put out a raging hotel fire. The fire has other ideas, fighting them every step of the way. This spectacular group of three 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings feature two full figure drawings of Mickey in his firefighting hat and one drawing of his extending ladder, two rendered in graphite with color pencil and one in graphite. They can be found starting at about the 2:47 mark as Mickey crashes onto his extending ladder, causing it to extend into one of the hotel windows. These excellent animation drawings range from about 2.5'' x 2'' to 5.5'' x 6.75'', marked as 24, 12, and 55 in the lower right corner. Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and faint residue.Auction Info
