Description

Mickey's Elephant Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). Mickey builds a special place to keep his elephant Bobo, gifted to him by the Rajah of Gahboon, in this original 12 field animation drawing. Mickey's Elephant was directed by David Hand and released to theaters on 10/10/1936; it featured the first (and only) theatrical film appearance of Bobo the Elephant from the Mickey Mouse comic strip. This original animation drawing of Mickey jumping with a saw in his hand is numbered 83 in the lower right corner; the image can be seen early in the short, at about the 0:42 timestamp as Mickey proceeds to build his elephant-shaped house for Bobo, causing poor Pluto to imagine Bobo is taking his place as Mickey's pet. The full-figure art is in approximately 3.75" x 4". The artwork is in Very Good condition with minor handling and slight edge wear.
