    Description

Mickey's Elephant Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936).
A friend sends Mickey a baby elephant named Bobo as a playmate for Pluto. Pluto's first introduction is to Bobo's trunk, through a fence. He is not happy, and marches away. The playful Bobo grabs Pluto's tail and follows. Pluto's devil self tells him he's being replaced, and tells him to attack with red pepper. From Mickey's Elephant we have a fantastic layout drawing that has the animator's reference notes to the red pepper written on the illustration. The piece was rendered in graphite and red pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. The drawing shows slight age related toning and fold creases in the corners. Condition is Good.
