Description

Mickey's Circus Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). "Bravo, bravo!" This is a showstopping 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing from this Ben-Sharpsteen directed short. It was done in graphite with color pencil and shows an angry Donald after he falls into the small pool and a baby seal hits him with a fish. The short features Mickey as the ringmaster of a circus, putting on a show for a group of orphans. Donald is a part of it, presenting an incredible trained sea lion act. The baby seal in the group messes with Donald throughout this animation, but the fish shown in the drawing is the last shot he makes it in. The short features the voice talents of Walt Disney (1901 - 1966) as Mickey Mouse along with Clarence Nash (1904 - 1985) who voices Donald Duck. The figure measures around 6.25'' x 4'' with the water ripples. Numbered 101, this paper has minor edge and handling wear as well as minor age-related toning. Very Good condition overall.
