Mickey's Christmas Carol Animation Drawings Group of 6 (Walt Disney, 1983). Mickey Mouse returned to the theatrical screen with this short, his first since 1951's The Simple Things. This short was released on 12/16/83 and received an Academy Award nomination. Wayne Allwine was the voice for Mickey Mouse and Alan Young voiced Scrooge McDuck. This lot includes the original layout drawing of Mickey as Bob Cratchit with his desk along with two drawings of Uncle Scrooge as Ebenezer at his desk, plus two animation drawings of Ratty and Moley. The layout drawings of the desk have the characters keyed to those layouts. All six drawings are on 16 field animation paper. This is from the opening scene in the short. Image sizes are 4" - 7", drawn in graphite with purple pencil. A rare look into the making of this historic short! Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
