Mickey's Amateurs Original Mickey Mouse Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). "OK, OK... Our next amateur is ..." As host of the show, it's up to Mickey to keep things moving along as hilarious hijinks ensue when a cast of characters including a singing Pete is followed by Donald Duck's attempt to recite "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" in this Pinto Colvig-directed short. Pinto Colvig also provides special sound effects in this cartoon. Walt Disney himself provides the voice of Mickey in addition to his duties as Producer. This fantastic short was released 4/17/37 with animation by some of the top animators of the day, Art Babbit, Les Clark, and Al Eugster. In this lot we have a superb production drawing of Mickey. You will find this image around the 0:41 time mark in the short. Mickey stands 5.5" tall on this graphite 12 field 5-peghole drawing numbered 44. Mild age-related paper toning and edge wear, otherwise, vintage Good condition.Auction Info
