Description
Mickey Plays Papa Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). Here is an outstanding original production drawing of Mickey reading a scary book to Pluto titled "The Cry in the Night." This is from the opening scene in this Bert Gillett-directed short, before the orphan is dropped off at Mickey's doorstep. Notice the animation trick of putting the title on the back cover of the book, so the audience can see what he's reading. Great large graphite and blue pencil image of 6" and noted as number 79 written in the bottom right corner. This was one of the original Mickey Mouse cartoons featuring Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey. Superficial age-related paper toning and edge wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
