    Mickey Plays Papa Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey Mouse is reading a scary book ("The Cry In The Night") in bed during the opening scene of this short. This is after the zoom-in, so it's a much larger drawing than those we have seen previously, measuring nearly 7" tall. Note the animation trick of putting the title on the back cover so the viewer can see what he's reading! This great animation drawing is rendered in graphite with blue shading on 12 field 2-peghole paper that is numbered 22 in the bottom right corner. This is a huge early Mickey drawing. The piece shows minor handling; otherwise condition is Very Good.
