Mickey Mouse Fantasia "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1940). A hand-drawn graphite and color pencil animation drawing of Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer's Apprentice! Images of Mickey from this anthology feature film are "grail items" for many collectors and fans. This one is fantastic. He stands 5" tall with the "borrowed" hat. This was one of the first appearances of Mickey with pupils and he was animated by Fred Moore. The drawing on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper is stamped "2004 7.0 33.1" in the lower left and marked "48" on the lower right. As a huge bonus, it comes with the matching effects drawing which has Mickey's shadows on it. You can stack them up and view them together with a simple lightbox. The effects drawing is marked "DX 148." Amazing detail in these original drawings. Slight tanning, with some minor handling, otherwise in Fine condition.
