    Mickey Mouse at the 18th Hole Painting by Paul Wenzel (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). Paul Wenzel was the first art director for Disney Consumer Products in 1985. He also was the Creative Director of Character Art, supervising over 25 artists. He worked for Disney for 42 years. This is a rare Paul Wenzel Mickey Mouse painting on canvas, inspired by the 1941 cartoon short Canine Caddy. The figure of Mickey teeing off is an impressive 12". Artwork is hand-signed in bottom right corner. Original paintings of Mickey Mouse by Mr. Wenzel are considered highly collectible and rare. Open-front framed, with a frame size of 19" x 23"; opening measures 16" x 20". Frame is sold as-is. Fine condition.
