Description

Mickey in Arabia Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Camel (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey and Minnie explore the Arabian desert by camel in this wonderful 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing. The Wilfred Jackson-directed theatrical short was released on 7/11/1932 and was the final Mickey Mouse cartoon to be released under Columbia Pictures. This detailed drawing is expertly rendered in graphite and features the pair pulling the camel to a stop, found at about the 1:35 mark of the short. Their steed is complete with belled reins and a front and back license plate, as well as a comfortable coach. They're definitely traveling in style! The full figure drawing measures about 4.5'' x 5.5'', Minnie and the camel smiling widely. The drawing is marked 22 in the lower right corner. Very Good condition overall with light age-related toning and minor edge and handling wear.
