    Mexican Boarders Speedy Gonzales and Slowpoke Rodriguez Animation Drawings (Warner Brothers, 1962). Pair of original animation drawings of Speedy Gonzales and his country cousin, Slowpoke Rodriguez. The Slowpoke drawing is identified as from the Friz Freleng-Hawley Pratt directed cartoon Mexican Boarders. Slowpoke was only featured in two shorts, of which this is the second (first one was Mexicali Shmoes, from 1959). Slowpoke has a full-figure image size of 4", and the graphite drawing is noted as SC 8A on a trimmed piece of pan paper measuring 14" x 10". Speedy is from an unspecified short; he's drawn in graphite and red pencil on 12 field 2-peghole paper, with a figure size of 4.5". It's noted as 11 in the lower right. Both drawings are framed together with Plexiglas for an overall size of 38.5" x 22", and include Linda Jones COAs for each piece. Frame is sold as-is. Art condition is Very Good.
