Melody Time Pecos Bill Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1948). "Bill had become a rootin' tootin' cowboy!" says the narrator about Pecos Bill. This is from the scene that displays Pecos Bill and Widowmaker ageing from infants to grown man and horse. It can be seen at the :40 mark into this cartoon, right before the Pecos Bill song. This is an outstanding 16 field animation drawing of Pecos Bill with his lasso and his horse Widowmaker, in a great graphite image measuring 9". Pecos Bill was a segment in the feature film Melody Time, but proved so popular that this segment was reissued as a theatrical short on 2/19/54. Matted with an opening of 15" x 12", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 23" x 20". Frame is sold as-is, drawing has minor handling. Ink and paint notes in red pencil have faded slightly. Very Good condition.
