Mary Poppins Fox Hunt Judges Layout Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1964). When Mary and Bert jump into the street chalk drawing, they encounter a fox chase on their "It's a Jolly Holiday for Mary" stroll. This is an amazing and rare 16 field layout drawing of the Fox Hunt Judges and viewers. Art is in graphite with blue pencil highlights, created by Joe Hale and Marie Gerard. This extremely rare artwork is stamped with a date of Nov. 7 1963. It lists Milt Kahl as the animator for this scene. Image sizes are 6" - 7". The lot includes a 16 field Judge's Stand background layout on 16 field 3-peghole paper from Scene 183, and is also from the hand of Joe Hale. A rotoscoped layout outline image of Mary and Bert from Scene 12 in red pencil on 16 field animation paper is the third piece in this group. The last piece is a 16 field animation drawing of two birds flying. As rare as they come! Minor handling and edge wear; overall Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.Auction Info
