    Description

Marvin the Martian MTV Promo Spot Production Drawing Animation Art (Warner Brothers, 1980). Wait, Marvin wants his MTV? ...We thought he wanted the Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator! This nifty little animation drawing was produced for one of the promo 'bumper' spots that ran on MTV in the late 1980s. They featured Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian. This spot shows Marvin (4" tall) and the U.S. Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) in the distance. This is a reference to one of MTV's first (and most ubiquitous) bumpers featuring re-colored images of Neal Adams walking on the moon (the U.S. flag re-colored to be an MTV flag.) Drawing is graphite on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. Labeled "Layout" in bottom right corner. Slight wrinkles and wear. Staple holes in top area. In Very Good condition.
