Magician Mickey Mickey Mouse Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). This great David Hand-directed theatrical short featured Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Mickey was the stage magician, Goofy the back stage help, and of course, Donald Duck the audience heckler. This is an outstanding Les Clark 12 field 5-peghole layout drawing of Mickey Mouse as he begins his card trick. It can be seen around the 2:30 mark into the short. Donald Duck will try to ruin this trick with his air pump from the balcony. Art is in graphite with red pencil highlights. Great image, with a size of 6". Drawing is marked BKD D S.A. Sc 4 with #12 in corner. Paperclip rust/water stain in top center, minor handling and edge wear. Good condition.
