Lupin the 3rd Part II Season 4 Episode #155 Douga Group of 2 (TMS Entertainment, 1980). Heritage Auctions is very proud to present two amazing artworks which were created for Farewell My Beloved Lupin, the 155th and last episode of the second part of the series. And what a special episode indeed! Not only did Hayao Miyazaki have total creative control over its production, as it would also be his penultimate television program before moving on to feature films exclusively, but he also used an early version of the giant robot that would star six years later in his legendary feature film Castle in the Sky! In this episode first aired in 1980, the robots are used by a gang of thieves to commit robberies. These two exceptional and rare animation drawings of Laputan robots are masterfully rendered in color and graphite pencils on 10.65" x 9.65" animation paper. They are numbered A12 and B17. This is definitely an opportunity not to be missed. In Excellent condition.

Heritage Auctions est très fier de vous présenter deux superbes œuvres qui furent créées pour Adieu mon Lupin Bien-Aimé, le 155ème et dernier épisode de la deuxième partie de la série. Et quel épisode spécial! Non seulement Hayao Miyazaki avait un contrôle créatif total sur sa production (il s'agissait aussi de son avant-dernier travail télévisé avant de passer exclusivement au cinéma) mais le réalisateur-culte y a surtout proposé une première version du robot géant qui allait jouer un rôle central six ans plus tard dans son film légendaire Laputa: le Château dans le Ciel. Dans cet épisode diffusé pour la première fois en 1980, les robots sont utilisés par une bande de malfrats pour commettre des vols. Ces deux dessins d'animation exceptionnels de robots laputiens sont exécutés de façon magistrale au crayon graphite et de couleurs sur du papier de 27 x 24,5 cm et sont numérotés A12 et B17. Il s'agit là d'une occasion à ne pas manquer. En Excellente condition.
