Description
Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, and Sniffles Original Illustration Group of 4 by Fred C. Hellmich (Warner Brothers, 1940s). Presented in this lot is a group of four charming original illustrations of iconic characters Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, and Sniffles by Disney animator Fred C. Hellmich (1926 - 1953). Fred worked on a variety of films and shows in and out of Disney, including Sleeping Beauty, The Rescuers, Heavy Metal, and The Smurfs. The beautiful original works featured here are rendered in ink and watercolor on artboard, ranging from 5'' x 7.75'' to 5.5'' x 8.5'' in 7.5'' x 9.5'' mat windows. The overall mat size for Bugs, Porky, and Sniffles is 11'' x 14''. Elmer's board is the exception with a 7.5'' x 8.25'' border and 10'' x 11'' overall board size. Each piece has been signed in the lower right corner by the artist. There is something to love about each illustration, whether you're a Looney Tunes fan or a collector of this skilled artist's work.
